Travel Cancellations due to COVID-19

If your travel plans were cancelled as a result of COVID-19, we want to help you understand how cancellations affect your loan with Uplift.

Cancelled trips result in a credit voucher or a refund and cancellation policies vary by travel supplier.  

  • Credit Voucher – This is a monetary credit with your travel supplier you can apply toward a future trip. Note: If your travel supplier issues a credit voucher rather than a refund, you must continue to pay your monthly payments to Uplift.
  • Refund – This is a repayment of your money. If your travel supplier issues a refund, they send us the refund directly and we apply the refund to the balance of your loan.

Cancellation policies are determined by travel suppliers. In the event your travel supplier offers a credit voucher, your loan with Uplift remains the same. Simply continue making your monthly payments and use your credit voucher to rebook your travel when you are ready, based on your travel supplier’s guidelines.   

If you receive a refund from your travel supplier, we will apply the refund to the balance of your loan.
