UpLift, at the intersection of FinTech and Travel, is rapidly scaling up and lead by a team of proven entrepreneurs who are deeply rooted in both industries. The leadership team is made up of founders of Sidestep (which now powers Kayak) and senior executives from Investment Banking, Payments, FinTech, and large Technology companies.

We are looking for an experienced and creative UI/UX Designer to join our innovative team and will be able to understand our business requirements & any technical limitations, as well as responsible for conceiving and conducting user research and translating them into sitemaps, wireframe, mockups and prototypes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering the best online user experience, which makes the role extremely important for our success and ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty. You will be designing ideas using various methods and latest technology such as graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs, forms, and widgets. The UX /UX designer will also be expected to design the overall functionality of our product, and in order to ensure a great user experience in accordance with user-testing.


  • Work across a broad range of fidelities, from rough sketches to highly polished, production ready assets and mock ups
  • Design across multiple platforms and applications for any type of device or screen
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience
  • Facilitate the client’s product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
  • Take a user-cantered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
  • Create and revise information architecture documents and diagrams including but not limited to: content diagrams, content maps, wire frame diagrams, comprehensive diagrams and static prototypes
  • Conduct & Facilitate requirements, design, and implementation reviews


  • 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary UX and/or product teams
  • Proficient with industry standard design tools (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch)
  • Strong knowledge of digital design and user trends
  • Proficiency in basic user-centered interaction
  • Understanding and appreciation of standard user interface design concepts and processes
  • Ability to effectively communicate visually, verbally, and in writing
  • Passion for outstanding, elegant design
  • Basic HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript skills are a plus
  • Ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision
  • Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions
  • Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients
  • A clear understanding of the importance of user-cantered design and design thinking
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications
  • Be passionate about resolving user pain points through great design
