A native of Chicago, Roy is a tough man in a tough profession--technical writing. Roy learned his trade in the hard way, writing tote sheets for bookies in dimly-lit warehouses. "Paper cuts, sore wrists from typing; it was no picnic," says Roy, "but it taught me how to suck it up." While he's the fastest skater on the team, Roy's shooting skills lag because his parents couldn't afford to buy him a stick until he was 14.
