Game 6, December 7th
A WAKE UP CALL!
By the time this game was over, everyone wanted some more practice time!This was a another wake up call. Aside from our nice job on the penalty killing, we had an otherwise unremarkable game on our part. The Dragons Freliche #28 and Cleaver #14 were unstoppable, they combined for 9 total points between them, with #28 getting 4 goals, including a natural hat trick at the end of the first period.
The Dragons scored their first of five first period goals at the 16:37 mark. With the Ice Hawks 3 Kopp evening it up at 1 each a few minutes later with a shot from outside the Dragon blue line, assisted by 16 M. Lachtanski. Then, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, the Dragons had four more goals!
The Ice Hawks had a few chances to get back in this game, but the Dragons just kept coming. 53 Dvorak tipped in a goal five hole when 9 Arakaki won the face off to 50 Ow, and Jenny was able to get the puck back to 88 Yamamato for the slapshot... This made the score 5-2. Then in the third 1 Wu was able to get one in to make it 6-3, assists from 22 Arsenault and 16 M. Lachtanski. But soon the Dragons had 3 more goals... Our final goal came when we were on the power play during the last minute of the game, as 22 Arsenault recieved a quick pass from the corner from 3 Kopp for Steve's fifth goal of the season.
