Game 3, November 7th
Ice Hawks out shoot the Red Stars 41-18!
Well the Red Stars were missing their ringer and it sure showed.The first period was well played by both teams, it seemed to go from one end to the other as each team took turns in controling the puck. The Ice Hawks were first to capitalize on a mistake by Red Star, as two Red Star defencemen both chaced the puck into the corner leaving 3 Kopp wide open in front of the net for a pass from 25 Pekarek. Even with the close play during the first period the Ice Hawks still out shot the Red Stars 13-6!
Well soon the Ice Hawks took over the game. With Goals from 25 Pekarek, 53 Dvorak, 22 Arsenault, and 16 M. Lachtanski. With Pekarek's goal being the game winner. In the second period with :23 seconds left the Red Star were able to get one goal in on our goalie G Bart, who in fact had a great game!
The final shot count was 41-18 in favor of the Ice Hawks! The best shot total in years for the Ice Hawks!
