ICAHL 1999-2000 Winter Season
Game 11, February 2, 2000
A Battery of Goals Leaves Opponent Seeing Purple Stars
The Red Stars fell victim to a change in 9 Arakaki's famous game time
imbibed energy blend. I don't know what was in it, maybe he got dressed
next to 88 Yamamato
and some of that Colombian Baby Powder that coats his
equipment fell into the concoction. It went something like this: "The
Red Stars carry the puck in behind the net. He is stripped of the puck
by "Bugs" Arakaki who sends a break out pass to "Bugs" Arakaki. "Bugs"
brings it out of the zone and centers it to "Bugs" Arakaki who skates
through the neutral zone, zig zagging around the hapless Red Star
defenders. He sends a great lead passes to "Bugs" Arakaki who breaks
into the zone. With a defender frantically trying to keep up he slides
a centering pass to "Bugs" Arakaki who shoots and SCORES!! Gary was all
over the place and was our #1 star netting 2 goals.
The Red Stars were never in it. Mr.
73 Stebbins had two goals, 22 Arsenault
had a power play from a nice feed from
73 Stebbins. 12 Ross had the
Bizarre Goal of the Game with his feed from behind the net pin balled
off of two defenders and was subsequently swatted in the goal by their
goalie. Couldn't do it again in a million years but , Hank you are a
one in a million kind of guy so it never hurts to try again. The goal
of the game belongs to 53
Scooter Dvorak With time winding down in the
game and his season, (Scotty will begin his sequestration while he
begins hormone therapy for his impending sex change operation and will
be lost for the remainder of the season) Scotty, forever the grinder
extraordinaire, muck it up in front of the goal and finally jammed one
in past their shell-shocked goalie. Good Luck Clarice at the Academy!!
G Bart the Goalie again had a great game in net. Careful
Bart!! You are
raising the bar. We might get great expectations. James again led all
scorers with 7 assists, but we have all probably conceded the scoring
title to him for the season any ways. And last but not least, it has
been confirmed, and yes it was a girl that
44 Young checked and mauled
during the game. Good to see him back into mid season form again after
his extended Texan Holiday!!
