1999-2000 Winter Season
After having a very tough summer season the Ice Hawks lost a few players and had to recruite some new ones, again in the Ice Centre's in-house league (ICAHL). Five or six new players joined the nucleus of 10 former Ice Hawks to build the new team once again... and of course our New Goalie too... whom we haven't found yet... YIKES! Anyone want to give it a try?

1999 Summer Season
After taking the winter season off, the Ice Hawks resurfaced in the Ice Centre's in-house league (ICAHL). Five new players joined the nucleus of 12 former Ice Hawks to build the new team. What is lacking in scoring punch is offset by the enthusiasm and grit of the "baby" Ice Hawks.

1998 Summer Season
Of the 16 spots on our Summer Roster, 14 are filled by returning players including 10 original team members. We actually lost 3 of our top scores for the Summer, so this is a chance for our other players to step up to the plate and get a few more Home Runs! Wait... thats baseball. Go Ice Hawks! We are moving up to the PHA C Conference.

1997-98 Winter Season
Of the 16 spots on our Summer Roster, 15 are filled by returning players including 10 original team members, plus we added the 17th roster spot again. We also have a new goalie, Steve Willhide, for this season. We are moving up to the "D - Division 2" Conference. We finished the season with a record of 10-7-3, which was the most losses we had ever had in our teams history. We did make it to the playoffs... but this season was the first time we did not make it to the Championship game. We were close, but we were not close enough. We took 3rd place, not even a team trophy this time.

1997 Summer Season
Of the 17 spots on our Winter Roster, 13 are filled by returning players including 10 original team members. We moved up a league to the "E+" league. We finished the season with a record of 11-2-3, first place in the final standings. which put us automaticly in the Championship game, but we lost to the Blizzard 5-2 in that game. This makes us 0 for 2 in Championship games, yikes!

1996-97 Winter Season
Of the 17 players on the Summer Roster, only 11 were able to return for Winter Season. The top two finishers of the Summer PHA "E" league, moved up to the "E+" league, so the Ice Hawks are the highest remaining team in the league from last season. We finished with a record of 15-3-2 which was good enough for second place in the final standings. During the playoffs, we made it all the way to the Championship game, but lost 4-2 to Gold Rush to finish in second. Our playoff record was 3-2.

1996 Summer Season
The Ice Hawks finished their first season with a record of 8-6-2, which was good enough for a third place finish in the final standings. It was a season of ups and downs for the team. After a solid start, the team fell on hard times and struggled for quite a while. A solid late season surge in the last five games (4-0-1) enabled the team to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, that playoff game resulted in a 4-3 loss to the second place team, The Fire. Each penalty received by the Ice Hawks during the game, three in total, resulted in a goal for The Fire. Penalty killing was something that was a strong point all season, but not that night. The game ended in a brawl that started as the final buzzer sounded. It was a fitting ending to a season where the team worked hard, but underachieved.

Team Creation
The Ice Hawks were formed for the 1996 PHA Summer "E" League. Most of the team members attended the PHA beginner class together the previous winter. A couple of players from a different PHA class, and four other beginners that did not attend a PHA class all met for the first time at the first game of the season. Despite the fact that this group of individuals had never played together, the outcome of that first game was a 3-3 tie against the Polar Stars (the eventual league champions.)
